Meet the Teacher
After Retiring from a 29-year teaching career with the York Region Board of Education, Howard Lindo is offering his services as a Tutor in reading, writing and arithmetic.
Howard has both an H.B.A and B. Ed and is a published childrens writer; is more than qualified through his many decades of teaching spanning his career and passion.
Services Offered
Howard offers Tutoring for students in Grades 1 - 6 in Reading, Writing, and Arithmetic. Tutoring takes place in his Residence, every week for 60 or 90 minutes. The tutoring "classroom" holds a maximum of three Students at any time. Review homework from the tutoring sessions can be assigned.
Specifically, Howard provides his assistance with school work, preparation for tests, or to develop skills in all areas of the curriculum. Also, communication with your child's Teacher can be arranged.
Students are encouraged to bring any school homework if support is required.
Tutoring time slots are naturally expanded during the summer months so that students can maintain or improve skill sets, and/or prepare for the upcoming grade.
Cost is $30.00 for 60 minute time slot, and $45.00 for a 90 minute session. Payment in cash after each session.
